Hello Babyko.. today is a week after we celebrated your birthday. It is only this time that I am able to write my deepest thoughts, feelings and desires for you.
Alam mo babyko, we have had so much experiences we shared together. From the moment you were born, life became more colorful. I remember when I first saw you, you were already wrapped in a white cloth, staring at the light in the ceiling of the operating room. You were amazed by the light that shone right through. From that moment on, I fell inlove with my little muchkin.
Before your birthday, momi and dadi were busy preparing for your dedication and first birthday celebration. We really wanted it to be fun, full, beautiful, with wow effect kind of thing. And we succeeded in making your celebration a fun-filled celebration.
I personally requested that the gifts are in the form of monetary love gifts. And you know what babyko, I am happy I made that decision, because the money that everyone gave was transferred to your college educational fund, which is 17 years from now, you will be able to finance your own education thru that fund.
During your babyhood, that is 0-12 months old, you develop physically and mentally well and advance. You started rolling over when you were about to turn to 4 months old. you were so bubbly. you started your first solid food at 4 months old. Started standing all by yourself at the age of 9 months. Walked at 10 months. You are an amazing learner! You can pick up instructions easily. You are observant and smart being. I thank the Lord for these great milestones in your life.
God knows how grateful I am for having you in my life. I thank the Lord for giving me you. You make me and dadi happy every day of our lives. You make us unite and bond in love because of you. We share the love of bringing you up to be a godly person.
Babyko, someday, I want you to be the way God has created you and wanted you to be. I know you will be a very awesome person: respectful, loving, sweet, humble, smart and obedient.
Babyko, my only wish for you as you grow up is to love God first with all your heart and soul, and everything will fall into places. Make Jesus the center of your life. Babyko, I know that the Lord will use you mightily to spread the message of salvation.
As I gaze upon your sweetness and gentle spirit, I know that you will make momi and dadi proud!
We love you babyko, and we will always be here for you. You may fall, but we will help you find yourself back again.
